BLAZE is a collaborative research-based project between Esther Vörösmarty (artist) & Sri Louise (performer) investigating aesthetic indeterminism at the intersection of human and artificial intelligence. Conceived as a post-disciplinary experiment, the project traverses the domains of photography and performance to interrogate the aesthetic and political indeterminism that arises when machine intelligence encounters embodied gesture. At its core, Blaze proposes a counter-mythology of progress.
Ultimately, BLAZE thus articulates a utopian materialism and becomes a cosmopolitical fable: a site of epistemic friction and collective imagination that gestures toward alternative futures.
